About this policy
SafeTap is currently in private beta. We collect the minimum information needed to help caregivers protect their parents from scams and stay aware of daily check-ins.
Information we may collect
- Caregiver name, email, and phone number
- Senior name and phone number
- Trusted contact information you provide
- Scam-check message content that you choose to send to SafeTap
- Check-in activity (whether a daily check-in was sent or replied to)
- Beta signup responses (concerns, preferences, willingness to pay)
Why we collect it
- To provide scam-check and check-in services
- To send alerts to trusted contacts when you ask us to
- To improve safety workflows for caregivers and seniors
- To contact beta users about updates and invitations
What we don't do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not automatically read private messages — users choose what to send to SafeTap.
- We do not guarantee fraud prevention, and we are not an emergency service.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your information at any time by contacting SafeTap through the contact page.
Updates
This beta policy is intentionally short. It will be expanded and updated before SafeTap launches publicly.
